Apatite has spent most of her time on Homeworld from the bottom of the rank and has observed how things work for a couple thousand years. Rather than focusing on work, she focuses more of her time and energy on how hot other gems can be with their outfits and physical appearances, which was the motivation that pushed her to get the promotion that allowed her to earn the new outfit.
